Lauren and Finn had returned to the Corinthian Garden two days ago, and events were unfolding rapidly. She found herself at the apartment where Finn resided while they sorted out their new residence in Grace Park. Their new home, purchased by her in-laws, was old and needed renovation before they could fully move in.
Finn graciously let Lauren take charge of the interior design decisions. She was excited at the prospect of furnishing their new space.
"I'm heading out. If you need anything, just let me know," Finn said, meticulously tying his tie.
"Don't worry about me. I'm meeting Kael today. We're going to watch Brett's game at the Arena this afternoon," Lauren replied.
