“daylight ring?” John asked once more after Hollie’s explanation of just how Jay was able to walk under the sun without turning to ash. “It doesn’t have to be a ring, although that is the most common form witches normally make it in. It is basically a protective amulet of sorts that allows vampires to walk under the sun like any other man.” Hollie explained once more before pouring herself a glass of water. The two had returned to the Ashwood residence, to brainstorm just where Jay might have gone. In the beginning due to him being unable to come in contact with the sun, there were but a limited number of places he could be but now that he had a daylight ring, there was no telling where he could be.
