“Hey, where are you? I do not see you anywhere. Are you running late or something?” I texted, and soon enough I heard someone’s phone go off. I looked around to try and find where the sound was coming from, but it seemed that I might have been hearing things, because no one in here had checked their phone.
I hope he arrives soon. Just when I was about to give up hope, a text from Conner came through, telling me that he was already here. I looked up in confusion at his text before noticing that Conner was the guy who sat near the window of the café.
