I stood there, waiting for the elder to finish delivering his speech, when I noticed everyone whispering, and I could only faintly make out what those whispers were about, when I noticed Alice had a tear running down her face. Did she still have feelings for him? Why was she crying over this stupid wedding?
That is when I noticed that the people of our pack were whispering about her, and I felt my blood boil. I wanted to interrupt them and tear all of them down for making her cry, but I held back, trying to wait until the end of the wedding out of respect.
I watched intently as Alice seemed to be unable to bare the gossip any further, because she stood up and bowed in respect, excusing herself from the ceremony. I was beyond livid, and my anger was bubbling up inside of me.
