My eyes creaked open to the sound of metal creaking. I squinted as it was still dark out, and all I could make out was a cell door opening, and someone getting out of it. It suddenly hit me that the person who left the cell was Tristan, and my heart skipped a beat.
I was about to speak, when he got closer to my cell, but he shushed me.
“Hey there babe, look at what I got.” He proclaimed as he opened up his hand, letting a key fall, and it dangled by the keychain on his fingers, as it swayed with momentum.
