Unforgettable or Regrettable? (Completed)

VI. I'm Sorry.

After they had dinner, they left each one to its house. They wanted to do something else, but Yugyeom was tired, so they decided to go home.

Tonight Nami was going to stay over at Seols. They got home about 12:00 am.

"Seol-ah"- her bestfriend called her from the bedroom.

Seol walked inside, who was on the living.-"What?"

"Lend me pjs" -She said and smiled big-

-She gave her friend a serious look- "First to the right" -She said and walked straight to the bathroom.

She brushed her teeth and washed her face, then walked back inside.

Her eyes got wide opened when she saw what her friend was wearing.

Her friend noticed her expression and looked at her with a frown. "I found this in there." -She said looking at herself- "It looked more comfortable. Is it ok?" -She said.

-Seol nodded yes-

Seol turned around and sighed in relief. She couldn't tell her friend that's Yugyeoms. "He needs to stop leaving his stuff here" -She muttered to herself-

"Who?" -Nami asked-

"Huh?" -Seol said turning around-

And here comes again...

"Nothing"

Nami stared at her with a straight face.

She hates lying to her friend. She hasn't told her nothing that have happened with Yugyeom. NOTHING. The only thing Nami knows is that they became friends, so thats why they went to see him on the contest.

The only thing why she is afraid of telling her, is because she already lied about what happened on her birthday, and she knows Nami will be so mad at her.

Other of the reasons why she hasn't told her is because she is the one who always try to calm her friends' actions (much as her conscience). And it is not logical that if she complains to her friend because of her hoe-ish actions, she comes up doing what she complains for.

She looked back up at her friend, who was staring at her frowning.

"It's Yugyeoms"-She mumbled-

-He friend looked at her with a confused expression, because she didnt understand-

"It belongs to Yugyeom" -She repeated. Now her friend heard it.

"Oh. Sorry" -She said, laughed and took if off-

Her friends' reaction took her by surprise.

"Oh Nami" -She called her friend, who was already putting on something different.

She sat on her bed with her leg crossed, and her friend followed.

"I got to tell you something" -as soon as she said that her friend sat on front of her.

"Are you pregnant?"-She asked with a surprised look-

"Noooo" -She said- "Are you insane?"

-Her friend sighed relieved-

"I'm going to tell you everything... All that happened since my birthday night..."

-Her friend looked at her interested.-

"After you left that night..."

Seol told her everything that has happened with Yugyeom, from they day of her birthday, to the day they went out on a "Date". The time of when she was telling her friend about what happened with Jae Dok and Yugyeom came back her friend smiled. She told her EVERYTHING, not detailed, of course.

Once her friend was done telling her all about it, Nami was looking at her with a smirk.

"What?"-Seol asked.

"How is he?"-Her friend asked and winked at her-

"Aish"-Seol said and threatened on hitting her- "I thought you were going to get mad at me because I lied to you."-Seol said and did a gesture.

"Never. I'm your best friend, not your personal adviser, or experiences listener. You tell me what you want me to know."-Her friend replied shrugging her shoulders on the last sentence.- "Besides, I'm so glad you ain't mourning on the other dude. He doesn't deserve you."

-Seol went up to her and hugged her tight- "I'm sorry"

"I already told you its ok"-She replied hugging her, and then let go.- "Won't you tell me how is he?"-Her friend insisted-

-The smile in Seols' face turned into a gesture.- "Aish"

"I'm just kidding"-The other said and laughed- "But you know what... I'm sure he likes you... Pretty much"-She said nodding.

Those words went like ice through Seol ears. She knows that too, she has noticed it. And it made her feel so bad. As she was telling her friend everything that had happened she noticed, once again, that even the feelings she thinks she has for this dude might me caused by the same spite.

She can't keep doing this to him... She has always being so strict about hurting and playing with other peoples' feelings. He is such an amazing, caring, devoted guy, she is feeling he doesn't deserve be treated like that. Even though she has been trying not to feel it as she is using him, but every time she thinks about everything, it just comes to her mind.

Seol was standing on front of Yugyeoms front door. Her heart was racing 200 times per minute. She was about to ring the bell, but she wasn't ready.

She thought about the best way on talking to him: Text Message, so immature; Phone Call, will make things worse than they already may be, so she decided it would be better to talk personally.

She was about to ring the bell once again, but when she was about to touch the button, she stopped. She took a deep sigh, and turned around walking to the elevator.

"No."-She muttered stopping, she closed her eyes and fists.- "You can do it"- She said, turned around, and in a fast move, rang the bell.

"I'm coming"- She heard he said.

Her hands started sweating, and her heart started racing faster.

Seconds later he opened the door, and as soon as he saw her he flashed a smile.

UGH! That smile. Why does he have to smile like that! NO. How can I talk to him if he is looking at me like that? So stressing.

No, Seol. Focus. You need to talk to him. It is now or never. ^She Thought^

She cleared her throat and forced a smile. "Hey"-She said and her voice cracked. He looked at her frowning. She cleared her throat again. "Hey"-She repeated, and forced a smile.

"Come in"-He said and moved, so she can come inside.

"Want anything to drink?"-He asked.

-She slowly nodded no.

She was looking around, grabbing her phone with one of her hands, and in the other hand she was playing with her fingers.

He looked at her still frowning.

"Are you ok?"-He asked with the same expression, and she fastly nodded no about 3 times.

-He looked at her and walked up to her, when he gave one step forward, she gave two backwards. As soon as he saw this he stopped. Now he was even more confused.-

"Please don't"-She said extending her right arm, and closed her eyes.

She took a deep breath, and opened the eyes again.

"I won't take you much time"- She said and deep sighed-

He was still looking at her. She could notice his curiosity and confusion in his eyes.

"I came to apologize."-She said and paused, for taking a deep breath. She felt a knot in her throat, and stomach.-"My birthday day, the night we met, I had just broke up with my boyfriend. Now it's almost 2 months ago. That night I drank too much, I was not at my logical senses. I was trying to get rid of every little thing that reminded me Jae Dok."- In that last sentence her voice cracked. He was looking at her more worried than confused now. She cleared her throat and continued. "That night, the drunk me did things were not right. But as drunk people don't think, I wasn't thinking that night."-She took a deep breath, and continued.-"The next day you texted me, and the sober me started knowing you. As the days passed I got to know you better, and you showed me you're much more than the guy I met on a crazy night."-She stared at his eyes, and looking at his expression, her eyes watered-"You came to be such a caring, devoted, kind, funny, and interesting guy. Lovely and different of the others. That's exactly the kind of guys I'm afraid of."- Some tears started falling from her eyes.

She felt like something inside her was breaking.

"I'm not saying you are like all the other guys, never will compare you to my ex..."-She said whipping the tears with her free hand- "You're much better, such a great guy, and I don't want to get to hurt you. You don't deserve that from me. From nobody."-She said and sobbed- "There was a part where I thought I was starting liking you. Why not? You treat me right, you cared about me..." –She said and cleared her throat.-"I was convinced I liked you. Until I started thinking on every moment we spent together. When I'm with you I forget about everything around me, my worries, my broken heart because of my ex, everything. So then is when I noticed I might be doing all this on spite."-More tears started falling, and she cleared them right away along with a sob- "I would never do something to hurt you, Im not that kind of person. I was doing it unconsciously, If i had noticed it before anything more than a crazy night would have happened between us."

Yugyeom was standing there, speechless... there was a mix of confusion, sadness and deception on his facial expression.

"Not because of you, but because of me, I would say that that night was regrettable"-She finished saying.

Before he could see her collapsing in there, she gave him one last stare, and left.
