CHAPTER 20 LENA POV The storm got worse sometime during the night, and rain hammered against the windows with such violence it sounded like the glass might shatter. Thunder rolled across the ocean like distant explosions rippling across the water. I woke slowly, confused for a moment about where I was or how I'd gotten here. Then reality returned, sharp and undeniable. I'm in Salvatore's room, his bed and prison. My gaze drifted toward the couch positioned near the fireplace.
