IV The university begged me to stay full time after I finished my few days of translating for them. Wanting a source of income to put toward Victoria and my evenings alone, I agreed and worked for them in the mornings. My parents were more than happy to see me harness such a drive for learning- especially my father- even if they didn’t realize my motivations for doing so. My mother was right to advise me of what to expect. After the first night Victoria and I spent together, I thought of nothing else. I craved her as a basic need- her touch, her taste, her voice.
