Damn it! Sophia exposes my true identity!
The staff member freezes. Everyone else in the hall stops what they’re doing. In an instant, I become the center of every stare.
"Zara? Is that the same Zara who was too cowardly to do anything but watch her own mother get killed?"
"She's pretty, I'll give her that. And she carries herself like the former heiress, but what a disgrace. To think she has to use a fake name just to get a job."
"Haha, of course she can't use her real name. Someone like her would have her resume thrown out immediately."
"I heard she's been locked up in her house ever since her mother died. Judging by how furious and clueless Sophia looks, she must have snuck out."
"The former heiress versus the current one. Now this is going to be a show."
