Zara’s POV
Now my mission is crystal clear:
First, I need to uncover the truth behind my mother's death all those years ago and clear my name.
Second, I have to find the right moment to get back at Sophia and David. These two are absolutely hostile toward me. Even though from their perspective I have Maxwell backing me up, there's no guarantee they won't take risks to keep targeting me.
Especially David—he's been obsessing over capturing me and keeping me as his mistress. He's the type who appears humble on the surface but is actually incredibly arrogant and has a fragile ego. Whatever he can't have, he fixates on, and then at some point, he'll stop at nothing to claim it.
Lost in these thoughts, I somehow find myself wandering into a bridal photography studio.
