David’s POV
The night wind cuts through my fur like a cold blade. I bolt from the Crescent Pack's territory at top speed, charging into the neutral forest that belongs to no one. I don't stop until the sounds of the Crescent Pack fade completely behind me. I skid to a halt, the sheer momentum sending me tumbling across the ground.
