CHAPTER 4

As they arrive at Mr.Dubois main residence, Elyna's visage lightens up as she is faced with a 80,000 square foot Mansion,surrounded with beautiful gardenry, waterfalls situated within the gardenry, "Elyna,this is your new home" announced Mr.Dubois with stretched arms across his body,while putting on a smile,"Uhm,Mr.Dubois…" stuttered Elyna,before being interrupted by Mr.Dubois,"No,I'm not Mr.Dubois, I'm Hugo,your Husband" said Mr.Dubois as he prepared to embrace Elyna, but got shoved away by Elyna as she has not fully accepted her new reality.

"Okay, let's go inside" an embarrassed Mr.Dubois said as he held Elyna by her hands and entered the main door while being greeted by the housemaid, "Welcome Sir and Madam" said Matilda as she put on a smile as a sign of respect towards the new couple, "This is Matilda, our housemaid, if you need anything she'll gladly help" said Mr.Dubois with a firm voice while politely pointing towards Matilda," I'm at your service, mam" responded Matilda towards Elyna, as Elyna responded with a smirky gesture towards Matilda.

As Mr. Dubois and Elyna climb up the glass-plated staircase as they embark into their chamber, Elyna is still shocked and stares at the beautiful features that cover the house, fountains being in the living room, huge chandeliers, spacious areas filled with sparkling royal white paint,

"Elyna, I'm not what people portray me as'' uttered Mr.Dubois as he takes Elyna into his stride as they enter his room, he removes his blazer, and his scented aurora ma permeates throughout the room, causing Elyna to become prey to his seductive actions, he holds Elyna across her curvaceous waist, and looks deep into her hazel eyes, and utters these words softly while tilting his head in a position to grab a hold of Elyna's lips,

"Your beauty is making me weak", Elyna is lost for words as she succumbs to the seductive aurora that Mr. Dubois presence permeates.

She stares deep into his bug-eyes, and leans closer to his lips. Elyna and Mr.Dubois share a passionate kiss that leads them to undress and share an intimate moment, before being disturbed by a phone call from one of Mr.Dubois' secretary.

" Greetings, Sir, my apologies for the late call. We have secured a meeting with potential investors that are based in New York, and require your presence on Sunday morning" alerted Mr. Dubois' personal secretary.

"Okay, send me the intricate details of the meeting today still, and thanks for the update" said Mr. Dubois as one hand is on the phone and the other across the bed as he faces Elyna. "Elyna we need to get ready, we are leaving for New York early morning tomorrow" said Mr. Dubois as he gets up and looks for his shirt across the bed and buttons himself while leaving the room.

"Okay" uttered Elyna softly, sinking into the bed lost in the moment, after the intimate interaction with Mr. Dubois, as she had never felt such exhilaration rush through her body. Despite this not being her first time being intimate with a man before, Mr. Dubois had something different about him that Elyna could not comprehend.

"Elyna, we are leaving in 3 hours" instructed Mr. Dubois as he entered the room in search of his pair of shoes and helped Elyna to her feet. "You got everything you need?" Asked Mr. Dubois as his fingers governed Elyna's waist. Mr. Dubois could sense that Elyna had fallen under his spell and left the room while holding his pair of shoes.

"Matilda, help Elyna get her things,we are leaving at 02h00am to New York'' commanded Mr. Dubois with a rousing voice as he raced to the bottom of the staircase. " Okay, will do, '' responded Matilda as she raced towards the glass-plated staircase in the direction of the chamber where Elyna resides.

As they arrive at the regional airport, Mr Dubois and Elyna are greeted by a row of hostesses and the pilot, as they enter into the gulfstream private jet, Elyna dressed in tight laced burgundy dress, amazed at the respect and lavish lifestyle that Mr.Dubois seems to abode in a daily basis, as they gather themselves on the seat, Mr.Dubois questions Elyna while holding her arm gently,"You comfortable?"

"Yes, I am comfortable thank you" responded Elyna with a quirky voice as her gaze quickly moved away from Mr. Dubois' face. "Elyna, what's wrong?" Instigated by Mr.Dubois as he noticed Elyna's sudden change of demeanor, " Nothing, I'm just disappointed at the way I treated you during the consecration service," uttered Elyna as she gazed at her fidgeting fingers.

"Look here, I understand everything, it must be overwhelming, if placed in your shoes I would react the same" claimed Mr.Dubois as he lifts Elyna's gaze with his hand placed under her chin, Elyna sets her gaze onto Mr.Dubois,while a shy smile takes over her countenance,she locks with Mr.Dubois' big bugged-eyes, "Come here" instructed Mr.Dubois as he gently pulls Elyna by the hand across his seat, and places her on his lap, ready to give her a warm hug. As they embrace for a significant amount of time, their urge to encounter one another again intimately takes prevailance, and they engage intimately while locking lips together.

"We have now arrived at our destination" resounded the pilot on the intercom,as Elyna and Mr.Dubois arose from their sleep,while still being fondled on each other, "What a trip!" exclaimed Mr.Dubois as his hands raised above his head, and gently gave a kiss on Elyna's forehead,"Good Morning my angel," an excited Mr.Dubois greeted Elyna,"Good Morning Hugo" responded Elyna with a gently voice surrendering to Mr.Dubois' unquenchable presence." Let's get up, we need to keep going,our drive is waiting for us " uttered Mr.Dubois as he gathers himself and takes a hold of his cellphone and notebook as he leaves the jet,with Elyna catching up behind him.

"Greetings Mr and Mrs Dubois" the driver warmly sends out his greetings to the couple as the doors of a Rolls-Royce phantom are widely set open."Take us as fast as possible to my residence in Carnegie Hills" commanded Mr. Dubois with a solid and firm voice. "Yes Sir," responded the driver unapologetically. Elyna's view on Mr.Dubois' accumulated wealth widened as her perceived notion of his wealth seems to be put as a mere insult, as she fathoms all the riches that are about to befall her.

"I've received the documents, but not the address of the meeting, please send it through to me asap" commanded Mr. Dubois as he rang a call to his personal secret, whose responsible for arranging the meeting with the prospect investors.

"We've arrived Sir" uttered the driver as the doors of the phantom automatically found its way open inside the gated estate that now Elyna will call home.

"Elyna, this is one of our homes in New York" announced Mr.Dubois as his assistants took both Elyna and Mr.Dubois' luggage within the comfort of their home." Wow, it's beautiful " amazed at what her eyes are beholding respondend Elyna.

As they step into their wide-spaced residence, Elyna turns in circular motion as she contemplates her new surroundings. "It's huge, spacious and very beautiful" exclaimed Elyna.

"Your beauty surpasses it, Elyna" uttered Mr.Dubois as he grabs Elyna by her waist and places his lips firmly unto his before removing it and remembering the reason for being in New York. " I got to change, as I need to get going, Matilda prepare for us breakfast" screamed Mr.Dubois as he rushes towards his chamber.

Elyna strolls across the mansion as she has glimpses of the fifty bedrooms that are housed within this gigantic 60,000 square foot mansion.

"Mr and Mrs Dubois, breakfast is served" announces Matilda, as Mr Dubois rushes downstairs towards the dining area,while buttoning up his barrel cuffs, "Thanks Matilda,but where's Elyna?" Inquired Mr.Dubois, "She's on the other side of the mansion,I'll go get her" responded Matilda as she made her way to the other side of the mansion,on her quest to get a hold of Elyna.

"Here she is Sir," responded Matilda as Elyna walked besides her. "Elyna,I'm on my way to meet the investors I told you about,I've just got a message from my personal assistant of where the meeting is located, I'll be back before 15h00, I love you" a rushing Mr.Dubois utters as he finishes up his breakfast and gives Elyna a soft kiss on her forehead, as he departs the home and on his way to the meeting. Elyna has completely fallen in love with Mr.Dubois from their intimate moment in the private plane, and her gaze is completely on him as the only man she intends to live for.

"Hi there, is this Elyna Dubois?" Inquired a firm male voice on the other end of the call, "Yes, and you are?" replied Elyna with curiosity befalling her conscious, "Yes, I'm the head of the investigative search team of the Elegancy Group" replied the other end of the call,

"Investigative search team? Where's Hugo??" an anxious Elyna exclaimed on the phone call with her eyes lighting up in awe.

"Mam, Mr.Dubois whereabouts cannot be traced and we suspect he has been kidnapped, earlier today" announced the investigative officer, "What??How??Aren't you guys with him at the meeting??" Exclaimed Elyna as her hand wraps around her countenance as she feels severe headaches creeping in, and collapses immediately.

"Mrs.Dubois, Mrs.Dubois" a sympathetic Matilda confronts Elyna, as her consciousness returns at a slower pace and her vision becomes slightly more vivid, as she discovers that her current environment does not resemble their Carnegie Hills mansion.

"Matilda,where am I,how did I get, where's Hugo???" Inquired Elyna with a voice above a whisper, as questions begin to cloud her worried mind,and tries her best to gather strength to sit up straight, "No,mam there's no need for that,the Doctor said you need to relax,everything will be okay, we are in the hospital mam,you collapsed and I had no choice but to invite medical advice" responded Matilda with worry written all over her countenance, "Where's Hugo?" Insisted Elyna with her voice slightly above a whisper as she notices her hands tied to a Intravenous line.

"Why's my hand tied to this?" Elyna demanded an answer from Matilda.

"The Doctor said you lost water, once you fainted, and the moment you gather enough water, we will be soon out of her" unapologetically answered Matilda with a quirky voice as she could sense Elyna's commanding gestures, despite being bed stricken.

"Mrs.Dubois, you are free for departure,but I insist you don't worry yourself on many matters,as it could result in you coming back to her,and possibly staying for a longer period than expected,these are your medications,read the instructions that are placed on the labels,they should keep you perfectly fine" instructed the doctor as she hands over the medication package to Matilda.

"Thank you Doc" replied Matilda.

"You are most welcome, just make sure she takes these medications regularly, for the next 24 hours, as it will help her rehabilitate faster." replied the Doctor as she ushered them out of the consultation area.

As they make their way towards the car, confusion has taken precedence on Elyna as she's still trying to make sense of her new life that has just started 48 hours ago, and all the events that have taken place from finding imperceptible wealth and unsought love to the kidnap of her new found soul mate and unprecedented short-term illness.

Elyna gets awakened by a voice message sent from the head investigative search officer "Greetings,Mrs.Dubois, we have conducted searches on the prospect investors that had a meeting with Mr.Dubois,but to our surprise their identity as well as residence has failed all security tests, and have been found to be fraudulent "

"Huh, didn't they check these information before proceeding with the meeting?" Muttered Elyna as she browsed her call logs for the search officer's number.

"Yes, Mrs. Dubois" the search officer replied on the other end of the call.

"Why weren't the security checks done prior to placing the meeting?" Inquired Elyna as she grabbed the medication package towards her stride.

"No, mam that's not the norm of how we operate, as Mr.Dubois' clients are of a very broad range" replied the search officer.

"Broad range?...what do you mean?" Inquired Elyna as the use of broad range enveloped her mind and brought more confusion into the type of business partners Mr. Dubois had partnered with.

"We deal with people from all sorts of life, some do not avail their identity, and in this case the prospect investors offered a bargain, and we could not resist the offer as an organization and had to act fast, as the deal was set to expire before we did not act swiftly." Explained the search officer to Elyna, as he described the circumstance that allowed them to take such a risk.

"Okay, I understand, but what next?" Insisted Elyna as she anxiously expected a positive answer in regards to the kidnapping search for Mr. Dubois.

"Mrs. Dubois, we tried our best but could not figure out any other means to gather more significant information, but our team is still on the search." responded the search officer with his voice softer than before.

"What? Have you informed the local police department and local search team?" Elyna asked commandingly.

"On the verge of doing that right away mam" responded the search officer with a trembling voice as he could envision the possible calamity facing his position as chief officer if Mr. Dubios is not found as soon as possible.

Elyna hangs up the phone, and takes her medications, while strutting towards the bathroom for her morning shower.

"Elyna, you have a visitor with an important message for you regarding Mr. Dubois" reported Matilda at the door of Elyna's chambers. "Okay I'm on my way Matilda", responded Elyna, as she dressed up swiftly to see the visitor in particular.

Elyna's mind gets pounded with questions as she's on the staircase, as she makes her way to the living room where the important visitor dwells.

"Who is this person and what important information does he want to tell me?"
