The Inheritance (Stepmom/stepson) Chapter 1 Trip Back Home

948 Words
Leo pushed open the heavy front door of the old mansion. He did not bother to wipe the mud from his boots. The familiar smell of polished wood, old money, and hidden secrets filled the air. He had not wanted to come back here. The last time he was home, he had a big fight with his father. That fight ended with a broken vase and Leo storming out of the driveway. He had sworn he would never return. But now his father was dead, and that changed everything. The house was quiet. Then Leo heard the soft clink of ice in a glass coming from the lounge. He walked in and stopped. Elena sat on the edge of the leather sofa with her legs crossed. She wore only a tiny silk slip that barely reached the top of her thighs. The thin material clung to her full breasts and showed off her long, tanned legs. She was not wearing a black dress or a veil like a mourning woman. She held a glass of his father’s scotch in her hand. “You’re late,” she said. Her voice sounded low and teasing. She leaned back slowly and let the hem of the slip ride higher up her thighs. Leo dropped his bag with a loud thud. “I did not want to come at all.” His eyes moved over her body. He forced himself to look away at the portrait of his dead father on the wall. “Why the f**k are you dressed like that? He is barely cold, Elena.” Elena gave a soft, dry laugh. She took a slow sip of her drink. “Your father had his rules and he is not here anymore.” She uncrossed her legs and let them part just enough to tease him. “The rules changed the second his heart stopped.” Leo’s jaw tightened. Anger and a dark hunger twisted inside his chest. He hated her. He had hated her since the day his father brought her home. But right now, her body made his blood run hot. “You should put some clothes on,” he growled. “The lawyers are coming in the morning. I plan to settle everything and leave by noon.” Elena stood up slowly. The silk moved against her skin as she walked toward him. Her hips swayed with every step. She stopped very close, invading Leo's space. Leo could smell her jasmine perfume and the warm heat of her body. “You really think it will be that easy?” she whispered. “You have been running from this house for years. But we both know you cannot walk away from what he left behind… or from me.” Leo grabbed her wrist when her fingers reached for his jacket. His grip was firm and tight. “There is no ‘us,’ Elena. There never was. Once the will is read, I want you out of this house for good.” Elena did not pull away. She leaned in until her soft breasts brushed against his chest. “You can try,” she breathed against his mouth. “But I have made myself very comfortable here.” The air between them felt thick and filled with tension. Leo’s grip tightened on her wrist. The silk felt very thin under his fingers. Her body was warm and soft. Four years of pretending he did not want her crashed down in that moment. “You think you are so f*****g clever,” he rasped. His voice sounded rough. “Sitting in his chair, drinking his scotch, waiting for me to come back so you can play your little games.” “I am not playing,” Elena said. She slid her palm slowly up his arm. Her touch felt burning hot. “I am surviving.” Her eyes dropped to his lips. “You cannot hate someone this much unless you are obsessed.” “I am not obsessed with you,” Leo lied. “Then let go,” she challenged. Her lips curved into a smile. He did not let go. Instead, he pulled her hard against him. Their bodies pressed together. Her full breasts pushed against his chest, and he felt her hard n*****s through the thin silk. Elena gasped. Leo’s c**k twitched and started to thicken against her stomach. “You want the truth?” he growled. One hand slid down and gripped her ass through the slip. “I hated knowing he was touching you. I hated imagining him f*****g you every night.” Elena’s breath hitched and real hunger showed in her eyes. She grabbed the back of his neck and pulled his mouth down to hers. Their lips crashing together. The kiss was rough and desperate. There was no softness. Leo groaned as he tasted scotch on her tongue. Elena moaned loudly into his mouth. She sucked on his tongue while her nails dug into his shoulders through his clothes. They stumbled back until her ass hit the mahogany desk. Leo lifted her easily and sat her on the edge of the desk. Her legs wrapped around his waist right away and pulled him between her thighs. The silk slip rode up to her hips. It showed her black lace panties that were already soaked with her wetness. “Leo…” she gasped. She broke the kiss to catch her breath. He buried his face in her neck. He sucked and bit the soft skin while his hands moved under the slip. “The rules changed when he died,” he muttered against her throat. “It is just you and me now.”
