Chapter 3

As the warriors of the Third Division launched an attack towards the demon threat humanoid, the War Chief of the Fourth Division observe their every moves.

"As you can see, what we are lacking is braveness and intelligent. Look at the warriors from the Third Division, they aren't even scared charging towards the enemy. That's why they are called the war veterans. To tell you honestly, the reason why we lost our battle again at these monsters is because we were too terrified. If we muster enough courage, we can also win the battle." the War Chief said as his fellow warriors are also watching from their base.

Caerro

I dodged the incoming attack and turned swiftly to the right as I draw it's attention away from the gunners.

The monster look at me and chase after me, I sprinted towards the space between it's legs, the monster turned around enough to bare it's neck.

I raised my index finger and middle finger up indicating that the bombers must use their first spears.

They all threw their first spears towards it's neck but the monster noticed the incoming attack as it hardened it's skin and shrink it's head again.

I quickly took the chance and threw my nuclear spear towards it's face. The spear hits it's face as it explode.

The monster roar and smash the nearby building, scattering debris everywhere.

The gunner cart moved backwards to avoid the falling debris. Some of my fellow assaulters quickly went towards the snipers to relocate them to a safer place.

I quickly retreated towards our safe zone to reload my nuclear spears. I pulled a pair of nuclear spears and placed them on both of my armlets. I readied them as I jump from the safe zone and flew back to the war zone.

Available Information:

Safe Zone- is the place where the warriors retreats to reload their weapons. They usually use abandoned buildings as safe zone.

War Zone- a place where the battle is being held.

I flew back towards the target and threw my nuclear spear at it's face. It bellows again and look at me.

The monster charged at me as I flew around it to make an opening for the snipers.

Just as I thought, this battle will never going to be easy. We are running out of spears and bullets and yet we can not even make a single damage to it.

I glance at Samantha, she is already sweating and she looked tired but still focusing on the target.

I looked at the target swinging it's arm in attempt to catch my fellow assaulters. I am observing it's behavior a while ago and something is really odd about it.

I flew down towards it to have a better look. I flew up near it's front frame and I notice that it has small openings on it's skin.

I flew back when the monster swing it's arm towards me. I dodged the incoming attack and flew down towards the space between it's leg and up to it's nape.

There! I saw it!

That's why whenever we use our nuclear spears, the monster is shrinking it's head. It's because it's trying to squeeze the skin on it's nape and neck to protect the small openings from our attack.

Then I also notice that the monster isn't making noise when we use the spears towards it's head.

I quickly went towards Samantha who is currently reloading her weapon.

She look up and wave at me smiling a bit to hide her tiredness.

"I know you're tired but I figured out it's weakness." I told her.

Her eyes widened as she beamed at me.

"What do I expect, you're the star of our division after all. So spill the beans mister" she said while doing her weird hand gestures again.

"So this is the plan....."

Blaine

I am currently watching from our headquarters. The warriors from the Third Division are insanely good at what they are doing. No casualties are recorded yet.

I noticed that their star warrior, Caerro said something on it's earpiece and then all of his fellow assaulters changed their positions.

All of the bombers retreated too.

They all flew down and cast their nuclear spears upwards.

Just what the hell are they doing? Spears can't penetrate the hardened skin of that monster.

I looked at Caerro flying beneath the monster throwing a nuclear spear that aims towards it's neck.

The spear hits it's neck and explode as the monster cried in agony.

My eyes widened, the spears worked! But how? The last time I did that, the spears only bounce off and explode.

I look closer on where the explosion occurred.

My eyes widened in realization.

Caerro aimed it's spears towards it's neck because he saw something in their. Perhaps an opening?

Then the monster looked at Caerro and angrily charged towards him swinging it's claws to him.

He just dodged them all while flying.

He then suddenly raised his index finger and middle finger.

The bombers then emerged from behind the monster and threw their nuclear spears towards it's nape.

The head of the monster then started to shrink but before it shrink, multiple energy bullets rained from the ground aiming it's jaw.

The jaw of the monster explode but not enough to disable it.

The eyes of the monster glance at the gunners but then before it see what is below, the snipers hits it's eyes as it explode because of the bullets.

The monster cried in pain as it swing it's hand around himself in attempt to catch some assaulters and bombers.

The snipers readied their weapon as they aimed again towards its knees. They fired again aiming the knees of the monster.

The kneecap of the monster exploded as it knelt down.

Then I saw Jacob flew up holding a bombers ultimate weapon. A bazooka.

Available Information:

Bazooka- an anti tank weapon used for breaching tank type monsters. It's rocket is fueled by nuclear energy that can destroy three-story building. It's two times stronger than a nuclear spear.

Jacob pulled the trigger of the bazooka. It hits the other side of it's jaw and explode.

The jaw of the monster was disabled and opened leaving the monster's mouth hanging.

Jacob then raised his index finger.

All assaulters including Caerro flew upwards and readied their nuclear spears.

"Now!"

Caerro shouted as he threw his remaining nuclear spears towards the opened mouth of the monster. All of the assaulters threw their nuclear spears at once.

When they threw all of their spears, they quickly retreated as the monster's mouth exploded.

The monster fell down with a loud thud.

All of the warriors that are watching here at the headquarters shouted in joy as the warriors reclaimed the land of humans.

I see, so that's why they are called the war veterans. They are indeed brave and smart enough to defeat such monster.

Caerro

When we dropped the final blow, we quickly flew away from it as we heard a loud explosion.

We all landed at the safe zone and glance back to out target. It's whole head is gone now, parts of it's head are scattered around the war zone.

Our plan was successfully executed. Thanks to our snipers, they all did great specially Samantha who lead them.

Our plan was simple. If we can do much damage from the outside, then we'll do it from the inside.

Our plan is to divert it's attention away from the snipers and gunners. Assaulters provoked the monster and lure him to our trap. When the monster was lured, the bombers will take place and destroy it's nape, but ofcourse as we expected, it shrink his head to protect itself.

That's where the gunners will take place, when the head of the monster shrunk, it's head is faced upwards baring it's jaw.

The gunners are located at the right side of the monster and they are in charge on destroying the other side of the jaw.

When the monster will give it's attention to the gunners, then the snipers will blind the target in order to minimize it's awareness. Then they shot the kneecap of the monster to prevent the monster from using it's feet to destroy it's surrounding.

And then after that, Jacob will make the opening where he will aim the bazooka on the other side of the jaw to disable it.

And when the jaw is finally opened, the final blow will take place and all of the assaulters will throw their spears inside the mouth of the monster.

It's a simple plan but it cost a lot of braveness in order to execute it without any casualties.

Now that we are done dealing with our target, we are now tasked to help our fellow warriors to defeat the remaining monsters that are currently exploring the land of humans.
