The Rouge queen and the Alpha Kings

Chapter 2

Emily pov

I felt my heart be clouded with hatred, and for the first time in my eighteen years of life, I hated the idea of having a mate. before me stood two, drop dead gorgeous alpha kings. They looked identical, they both had light brown hair, grey eyes, they stood at 6’4 and had a body to die for, they had muscles and a body that could make any girl drool. The only difference between them was their scents, one had strawberry with a chocolate scent, while the other had strawberry with rain scent. They came charging toward me, and I just stood there almost growling, ready for an attack. They suddenly stopped when they were right before me, their eyes black, showing that their wolves had taken over. From the closeness, Nora was so excited, I could feel her jumping around in my head. “we found him. But there are two of them, and they are so gorgeous” Nora was howling in excitement. “No Nora, I don’t want them. They came here to kill my pack, they are both ruthless and savage, they care not for rouges. And don’t forget, they are responsible for my mother’s death” I told her angrily, I wasn’t going to accept them, I would rather be mateless. “you can’t reject them Em, you know you already love them. Besides, they didn’t kill your mother, their father did, you are taking out your anger towards the wrong people. And if you become their Luna, won’t you be able to have power to change the laws the give to our rouges the dream we all desire?” when she said that, I could feel myself calm down, she was right, I already love them, the mate bond does that to wolfs. It’s all about love at first sight, but most importantly, I can help my rouges.

“so you are our mate little rouge?” one of them said, and that had me snapping back to reality, and I could feel their breath on me, their eyes had returned back to their grey colour showing they have control over their wolfs. “y…ye…yes” I said, but it came out a squeak, the closeness was making my heart go crazy. One put a hand on my waist to pull me closer while the other hugged me from behind, sparks of electricity shot through my body, causing my mind to cloud over, this felt so right, and I wished I could stop time. I had forgotten all about the attack and that we had wolves watching us and enjoyed the moment, but it was cut short by one of them saying, “well, it’s too bad we don’t want a mate, much less a disgusting rouge” he said in all disgust. I raised my head to look at them, disgust and hatred was written all over their face. I could feel Nora whimpering, begging them not to reject us, and my heart felt like it was being torn into two. I asked the only thing that came to my mind then “so are you going to reject me?” having said that, I could feel my heart being torn. They just looked at me and smiled, it was enchanting but also looked evil, “oh! But we won’t reject you little rouge, we are just going to take you with us. After all, what better way to take revenge on rouges than to leave them defenceless by taking their queen” I glared at him and they both laughed out loud “you should mind-link the devil now so he can reserve you a seat in hell” I glared at them and I could feel my anger raising, the wanted to use me to end my rouges, without a leader, my rouges will be an easy target, especially my pack, I’m their alpha.

With that thought I shifted into my wolf, shredding the clothes that I was wearing into pieces. They also shifted and stood before me in their wolf form, one was an all-white wolf, while the other was midnight black. They stood tall, they are bigger that all alpha wolves but to me, they are just an inch taller. I could hear the gasps of their pack, I wasn’t sure if it came from the fact that I was almost as tall as the alpha kings, or because I had the rarest fur colour, “blood red”, only one was born every thousand years, but that’s a story for another day.

They charged at me ready to attack, I was able to dodge them, but I could hear the sound of bones cracking and within a second, my warriors were pushing be back, taking charge and protecting me, but I wanted to protect them at all costs. Just then, a sliver blond wolf came before me, and from the scent I could tell that it was Dave “you have to run Em, NOW” he linked me. “are you crazy, I’m fighting, I’m the alpha, I’m protecting my pack” I said angrily “I’m not going to argue with you, your father is almost here, I promised to keep you safe, don’t make this hard for me. If you get hurt, the man will kill me and you know it” he said to me, almost begging. I knew my father, one scratch on me, everyone here is as good as dead. Feeling defeated, I took off running, but not before telling him to keep everyone safe

As I was running, I couldn’t feel Nora, it’s like she was never there, but I could feel a set of paws hitting the ground, chasing quickly after me. I made my way through the forest, avoiding the trees, which was almost impossible considering that it was a moonless night. As I was running toward the waterfall, we had a safe room behind it, as soon as I approached it, one of then lunged at me, causing me to fall while he held me in place, his teeth at my neck, while the other shifted back into human form. “you are not escaping us that easily little mate” I could feel fear surge through me when he took something out of his trouser pocket and injected me, and just like that, everything went black and I lost consciousness, but not before seeing the evil look in their eyes.
