Not long after I had my 3rd … actually maybe 4th or 5th but who’s counting… chocolate bar and finished my mocha, the phone rang.
“Alpha Liam.” He still answers it properly even though we saw it was Devlin. “I will put you on speaker as Cara is here. I have informed her of everything.”
“Hey trouble.” Em was first in as soon as it was on speaker.
“Hey Queenie.” I shot back with a smile.
“Eww I told you to stop calling me that.” She whined.
“Too bad. Too sad. Anyway, turns out we are now related by marriage, huh?” Time to rip the band-aid off.
