Liam gave me a quick kiss before he went over and joined everyone. Uncle Tony and Carlos were in the circle as well. I could see they were finally starting to relax.
I would talk to them later and make sure that everyone was nice to them. They deserve to be accepted and I really don’t think anyone would have a problem with them.
Liam even patted Carlos on the shoulder as he joined them and Carlos and Uncle Tony gave him a massive smile.
“Cara. Can you come and help me in your old room for a moment?” Mum tried to ask casually. Here we go.
“Sure.” I got up and followed her in. Before she could close the door, dad was there as well.
Mum had an apprehensive look while dad’s smile was splitting his face in two.
