Kate MorganKate was grateful for the part-time job she had at the bookstore. Not only did she get to meet new people... she met Mark.
Getting to see Mark was the highlight of Kate’s week. He was the new courier assigned their location, and they’d instantly hit it off. Talking to Mark was easy. And Kate enjoyed the attention he gave her. It wasn’t like there would ever be anything between them—she was going to be a new mom soon, and she wouldn’t have time for relationships.
“So, what’s he like?” Sarah asked of Mark.
Kate blushed. She wasn’t used to talking about men. “He’s really nice.”
“I gathered that—I was surprised to see him behind the bookshelves,” Sarah laughed. “But, what makes him nice? Like, how did you know you liked him?”
