Kate MorganSeeing Sarah’s text message worried Kate. She had done so well moving forward after the death of her husband, and she was making good progress riding the waves of her depression. But as much as Kate wanted to be there for her dear friend, she knew that Evan would object to her going out after work. They had already argued about Kate keeping her part-time job working for Louise at the bookstore. Going out was bound to cause another disagreement between them, and she didn’t want that. But Kate decided she would cross that Evan-bridge when she got to it. In the meantime, her friend needed her. Sarah was there for Kate when she had problems—not that the problems had gone away, but she wasn’t going to let anything stop her from being there for Sarah.
