Kate MorganAfter spending part of the day with Abby, Kate decided that she too wanted to take charge of her life. It seemed funny that she was inspired by the words of a teenager who had run away from home. But in many respects, Kate felt like she was in the same situation. She picked up her mobile phone and sent a group text message to Sarah and Louise. Hi ladies. Shall we get together for tea tomorrow at 2.00 pm? I’d love to see you both.
Sarah was the first to respond. Yes, yes, and yes!
Louise quickly followed with; I’ll be at the bookstore. Can we meet there? Looking forward to seeing you both.
Kate was glad that both women were eager to see her—or at least to get together. Despite the circumstances, she had really enjoyed being with them.
