Willem didn’t particularly like the management style at Tamboti. He thought it appropriate that the name and senior leadership represented a toxic situation. The Tamboti tree, when burned, will poison any food that may be exposed to the smoke. The results would be unfortunate for any who only wanted to cook on an open fire.
Despite the initial dislike of Mr. Hargreave, which was reinforced seeing the asshole in action, he bit his tongue and led or assisted with tours. He was anxious to get back to Ditholo. Things were more progressive there. It would have been the far better choice for Jack anyway. He smiled as he thought about the plans made with a perfect partner in what seemed like so long ago.
