Chapter 6 Jason slammed the front door and leaned his back against it. With the last of the crop sold off and their many acres empty for the winter, his family could slow down for a few days. That he included Castiel wasn’t a surprise. Jason found himself becoming attached to the being, definitely against his better judgment. It did weird him out that his brothers weren’t warning him away from Castiel anymore, given that they loved to rub his nose in his poor choice in lovers. The rich scent of warm bread waft past him. Must be Danny getting started on Halloween treats for the next evening. Good thing too. Jason could cook, of course, but his younger brothers were far better bakers. And Castiel seemed to enjoy their food more. Possibly because Jason tended to make greasier meals. Ah well
