I looked up at him, stunned.
Mrs. Delgado clapped her hands. “I always said you two were meant to be! Look at you. Still finishing each other’s sentences.”
I laughed nervously. “Yeah. Something like that.”
She left after a few more gushy comments, and I turned on Ryan the second she was gone.
