Walking through the forest hand-in-hand are two figures; one large and the other quite small. The man stares at their joined hands absentmindedly as he walks. He doesn’t even look up to watch the treacherous and unpredictable path they are weaving through- all his attention on the pale small hand clasping his larger darker one. Yet, nothing happens to him. Amelia who is walking while facing forward and carefully watching her step does not notice that when she jumps over an old rotten tree branch, the man behind her does not do the same. In fact, while he is busy staring at their hands, the branch instantly disintegrates into dust before his foot made contact with it.
