I sat alone in my room, going over the journal once more. I scoffed as I read the remarks. This really was a bunch of crap. I let off a soft sigh and shut it. Weak. Really? I sighed as I sank into my chair. They are far from weak. And now I’m finding out Sylvi’s a princess. Are there any more secrets in this squad I don’t know about? Is Mira some kind of special person too? “I need to talk with them.” I muttered. Just then, three knocks came. Each one having distinct sounds i had come to recognize. Mira’s soft knock, Koras childish short knock and Lina’s bang. “Come in girls.” The knob twisted and my door swung open. Kora sprinted in, jumping straight on my bed. Her weight pulling it down gently. Mira walked straight to me, leaning far too close for comfort. While Lina sat on a nearby dresser just next to my bed, a pillow tightly in her hand. “Where’s Sylvi?” I scanned the room, paying attention to the dark corners and shadows. Then I saw it. The glint of her silver hair. “Come out Sylvi.” She let off an annoyed sigh. Ever since our time at the palace, she had been easier to spot. She said nothing and jumped on the bed next to Kora. I shifted my gaze and glared at Mira who still stood too close. “Sit on the bed please.” She hesitated at first. Then pouted before obeying. Now that all of them were seated, it was time to get into it. I hope this ends well. “So as you all definitely know, I found out about Sylvi’s Royal bloodline last week.” I began. “It would have been lovely for any of you to give me a heads up. But like i told her, this won’t change the way we interact in anyway. However..” I let out a soft sigh. “I would like to know if there are anymore secrets i don’t know about.” I paused, watching the girls. “I know Kora is an immortal oracle being chased by the Heralds. I know Lina is Asriel’s sister meaning she is nobility. And now Sylvi is the first princess and next in line to the throne. So..” I glanced at Mira. “Are you a mystery I have to uncover too?” She smiled softly. “I am not a mystery you have to uncover. But..” Of course there’s a but. “But what?” I asked a bit overwhelmed. “Well there are more secrets you don’t know about.” She paused, a nervous smile spreading across her face. She glanced at the other girls who seemed to avoid her gaze. “What other secrets?” I asked weakly. She hesitated. Then her lips moved. “There are six of us not four. The other two usually never show up here and so most captains never met them.” Wait what? Did she just say there were more? Have I been leading ghosts too? I can’t handle any more of them. Maybe they are guys. Maybe I’ll finally have someone that relates with me. Suddenly it hit me. My eyes caught the slight glances they gave each other. Oh no. “What?” Mira hesitated. She shuffled softly on the bed. “Well, they are on their way to the Nest.” I froze. Suddenly a knock echoed. Followed by a loud bang that shook the building. I jumped to my feet but the girls remained seated. “Kora!” A deep feminine voice boomed. I blinked. Looked at Mira and raised a brow. She avoided my gaze, whistling a tune. Kora jumped off the bed and suddenly began cracking her fingers. Really? You can’t be serious. Footsteps ran hurriedly up the stairs and into the hallway. Before I knew it, they were at the door. “I smell you all in there.” The voice boomed again. Suddenly, Sylvi jumped off the bed, slipping into the shadows. Lina yawned lightly. She fell on the bed, adjusted her pillow and laid her head. Just as quickly as, she fell asleep. “You might want to leave there Captain.” Mira said. She had made her way behind the bed. Her eyes shifted to Kora then back to me. I turned, catching a sly terrifying smile on Kora’s face. “Come on in Shiba!” Wait what? “Bring it on!” Without warning, the door burst open, wood debris scattering in the air. I turned, catching a pair of teal eyes and a massive dark body charging towards me. My body stiffened as bloodlust hit me. My spine froze and my legs nailed to place. Crap! I cursed under my breath. I was sure I was a goner. For a moment my eyes went shut. Then I felt a pull. Someone grabbed my collar, pulling me out the way. I tripped back, falling into what felt like rocks. I whizzed. My eyes opened and my vision became blurry. Just in time to catch the full brunt of the impact as Kora clashed with the figure. The air scattered violently, flinging books, chairs and even almost tossing the bed. Koras grin widened, her eyes locked on the figure. My vision slowly cleared and I finally made out what Shiba looked like. Her hair was dark, flaring wildly as the wind hit her. Adorned in armor designed with purple runes and carvings. Very similar to Lina’s. Her teal eyes were sharp like a dragon hunting a prey. She had a wild grin on her face and towered over Kora. Her back arched down as they locked fingers. “Good one Kora!” She yelled. “You’ve gotten better!” Kora grinned. Both pushed off, jumping back into defensive stances. For a moment, tension hung in the air. Two warriors clashed without even throwing a punch. Then, a hearty laugh echoed from behind me. “That’s enough guys. You are going to give the captain a heart attack.” I froze. Finally I noticed it. I was being held by someone. Their arms muscular and strong. They seemed to tower over me and they were female. I could tell cause my head was pressed against something soft. I know breasts when I feel them. I looked up, catching the golden eyes that hovered over me. “Hello captain. My name is Shira.” My jaw dropped. And so I met the last members of the Raven unit. The half-giant twins Shiba and Shira.
