Chapter 33 The asphalt of the hospital parking lot seemed to vibrate beneath Evan’s feet, a stark, clinical contrast to the polished marble of Sterling Enterprises. As Leo’s car roared to life and peeled away, leaving only the smell of burnt rubber and expensive fuel in its wake, Evan was left with nothing but the folder and the crushing silence of his own conscience. He stood by his Lamborghini, the dull grey paint job felt as dull as his personality at that point. He didn't move for a long time.
