Chapter 6

I gave up trying to sleep I got back up threw my hoodie on and left the room. As I got to bar area Mel jumped up from the sofa and came towards me.

“Casey you, ok?” She asked while leading me away from all the w***e and old ladies.

“Yea, I just need to get out for some air, I get it we are in lockdown, but I need air and a strong stiff drink” I said trying not to have a panic attack.

“Ok, come with me” she said grabbing my hand a bottle of jack Daniel’s from the bar and took me out of the clubhouse she lead me over to the office. I sat on one of the sofas while Mel poured two drinks and handed me one.

“Have they come out yet” I said while downing my drink.

“No not yet, are you worried when they come out” she said pouring me another drink. “I don’t want the pity looks I don’t think I will be able to cope, Duncan going to blame himself he already does with my dad being killed, Ward I dread to think what he going to think, he treats me like he owns me which is kind of a turn on but you’re not allowed to tell him that” I said looking Mel dead in the eyes. Mel burst out laughing I just looked at her confused. “I won’t say anything to him, I’ve never seen Ward like this it is quite funny cause all the whores have been trying to bag him for years you’ve only been here a day, he is whipped” she said I started laughing. We just sat there laughing, talking and drinking we also found Drake’s secret bottle of whiskey in one of the cabinets. I jumped a mile when Nate ran in as if someone had shoved a rocket up his ass. “Really, we are losing our heads thinking you have done a runner and your here getting pissed” he said shaking his head at us. Me and Mel just sat there laughing at him. “Listen here son I’m old enough to do what I want” Mel said trying her hardest not to laugh at him.

“Yea if you say so I’m messaging your old man to let him know his wife is getting Duncan daughter drunk, who is underage mother, in the office” he said laughing while send a text.

“Well snitches gets stitches remember that Nate” Mel said. Drake, Duncan and Ward came bursting into the office me and Mel just burst out laughing when they ran into the office.

“Really Mel, my good whiskey and getting Casey drunk as well” he said me and Mel just sat there laughing.

“Sunshine, come let’s get you to bed” Ward said while kneeling in front of me with concern look in his eyes. I jumped up to feet knocking Ward down “well I’m off to bed, Mel great night just don’t invite the no fun police” I said as I quickly darted out of the office, I needed to get as far away from Ward I don’t need his concern as I walked into club house I bumped in to Archer he grabbed me before I fell.

“Carefully Casey, I was wondering if we could talk-“ he started to stay I shut him down straight away “Archer don’t I prefer you being a d**k I don’t want your pity” I said . I quickly made it to my room before I started to cry before I could close my door Ward quickly pushed himself in and locked the door behind him we stood there for 5 minutes looking at each other all I could see was pity and concern on his face. Before I could tell him to leave, I was sat on his lap while he hugged me tightly “shh sunshine I’ve got you now no one going to hurt you again” I tired to pull away but he kept hold of me tight every time I tired to say anything he kept telling me reassuring me that no one was going to hurt me in the end I was too tired to try and fight back and just let him hugged me till I fell asleep. I woke to banging on my door I jumped a mile a arm reached me from behind on quick reflex I turned and punched who ever was behind me.

“s**t sunshine that twice you have punched me, s**t I think you have given me a black eye” Ward said holding his eye. “s**t I’m so sorry” I said jumping out of bed running into the bathroom to get a wet towel. When I got back into the bedroom Ward was sat up on the edge of the bed I stood between his legs and put the towel on his eye gently.

“Sunshine can we please for one day you not punch me” he said while pulling me closer before I could say anything my door was kicked open by an incredibly angry Duncan.
