It was a hot sunny morning despite the turbulent heavy downpour the previous night. Just like every other morning, Alpha Fabian was relaxing in his beautiful garden reminiscing his notable accomplishments as the Alpha of Sinclair Pack, Southern California. Suddenly, Arindia the moon guardian strolled to his quarters without being seen by anyone. She sniffed the environment suspiciously. “I wanna speak with the Alpha. Go call him immediately,” she instructed one of the maids passing by. "The Alpha is busy at the moment. I am sorry, you can't see him. He wanna be left alone,” Jessie rudely replied the moon guardian. "How dare you defile my orders? You must be punished for disrespecting the moon guardian. Now get the f**k out of my sight.” Arindia the moon guardian sparked outrage and threatened Jessie. "Please, pardon my manners. The moon guardian's rage is sharper than a double-edged sword. I'll go call him immediately,” Jessie Apologize for her unruly behavior and disappeared without a trace. "What do I owe this pleasant surprise? I wasn't expecting to see you this morning. I wanna believe this isn't just a friendly visit, right?” walking majestically to his sacred throne and accompanied by his BETA, Julian, Alpha Fabian tossed the friendly question at Arindia, the moon guardian. Fabian can't seem to recall the last time Arindia visited the pack, let alone at this hour. His instincts tell him her presence depicts an time-sensitive situation that requires drastic attention. "How wise of you to think in that direction. Put up on your thinking cap because I doubt if you ready for what's gonna hit you. Trust me, it's gonna hit you hard.” "Hit me hard? I can't seem to comprehend. Your utterances convey parables. Can you please cement your butt on my Golden stool? Maybe an explanation would do.” Alpha Fabian was bewildered. Thousands of questions invaded his mind. He found it difficult to discern the aura hovering around his pack. "I find your generosity quite fascinating, Alpha, Fabian. But I'm afraid, I rather remain standing. I didn't come here to be entertained as a guest. I brought a divine message from Selene, the moon Goddess, that requires certain instructions to avert an impending danger that's about to wreck your lineage for good.” The moon guardian divulged and fueled the fear hoarding on Alpha Fabian's face. . "Stop playing! Now I'm scared. I do not like being kept in this suspense, moon guardian. I'm losing my patience already. Please, spill before I lose it.” He countered the moon guardian and charged her to disclose whatever message she's got for him. "Patience, my Alpha. If you keep tossing questions, you might lose it.” The moon guardian made an upraised hand to calm Fabian and allay his fears. “Then speak! It's not that difficult, is it? You've been here for over an hour, yet you take forever to speak. How long does it take to divulge a simple message?” He flared and frowned at her prolonged silence. "Fine! I'll speak! Many years ago, your great-grandfather committed a crime when he r***d an old lady until her last breathe her. Before she passed on, she cursed him that none of his generation will surpass the age of 30.” The moon guardian unleashed the bombshell that nearly ripped off Alpha Fabian's heart. “And my father never told me? I love the way you lie. This can't be true.” Alpha Fabian doubted the authentication of the revelation and accused the moon guardian of the false accusation. “No one knew except your great-grandfather. But unfortunately, he died without breaking the curse. Just like you, he doubted the moon goddess. Now the lives of future generations rest on your shoulder. If you act like your great-grandfather, I'm afraid your lineage will be wiped out completely from the earth's surface because you're the only surviving person from that family.” She further buttressed and planted more fear for Alpha Fabian. He still doubted the authentication of the message. But after a profound thought, he discerned an atom of truth. His late father passed on at 26, his grandfather lost his life on the battlefield at 28. Now, Alpha Fabian is barely 28. “I know that look on your face. Do not be dismayed, for there is a solution to your problem.” She allayed his fears and conveyed his hopes of staying alive. "There is? Then tell me. I wanna experience longevity. I am too young to depart this earth.” For the first time, Alpha Fabian feared for what's gonna hit him. He's never been this remorseful all his life. For a prolonged moment, the moon guardian was mute. Her eyes widened and turned red. Narrowing her gaze into the dark clouds, she screamed in a scary voice. “All hail Selene, the Moon Goddess. Alpha Fabian has sought a solution to his problem. He shouldn't suffer for a crime he knows nothing about. What can be done to break the curse?” “Thank you, the moon goddess. I've always known you're merciful and considerable,” Arindia nodded her head in affirmation as she turned to face Fabian fully. “Your freedom is certain, but it comes with a price. Are you ready to pay the price?” "I'm down for whatever.,” Fabian replied with confidence. "You have been instructed to go find a teenage girl and make her your bride. Once she bears you a son, the curse will be broken. But, you need to tread cautiously to avert the wrath of the moon goddess. Her rage is like a burning furnace. Good luck finding the teenage girl.” Arindia vanished after disclosing the solution to his concerns. Yet again, Fabian was confused and needed answers to the thousand questions lingering in his heart. Placing his hand below his jaw, he ponders, flinching at the tone of his voice. “Why do I need to find a teenage girl? There should be another way out,”
