CHAPTER 2

"What's wrong? You haven't even touched your food yet. What if it gets cold?” Julian questioned Alpha Fabian with keen interest. "Who cares if it gets cold? Food is abundant around. I could always eat another day, but certainly not tonight. I have lost my appetite.” "Why?” Bewildered, Julian asked again. "Why? You dare ask such a question? Weren't you there when the moon guardian condemned me to death? My longevity rests on the shoulder of a teenage girl. Where on earth will I find her?” Alpha Fabian yelled at Julian, his BETA. The night was fast approaching and Fabian had refused to eat anything. Ever since the moon guardian unleashed the bombshell, Fabian has suddenly lost his appetite. He rather starve than watch his life perish. "I know how you feel right now. But one thing I'm certain about is, finding a teenage girl isn't difficult. With your position as the Alpha of this pack, no one would resist your Golden offer.” Julian lifted his hopes. "You seem so convinced about this. How do we aim to fix it? I've got no clue about this s**t. Perhaps, you should hit the road tomorrow and go find me a teenager. I bet you don't wanna lose your Alpha to premature demise, do you?” "Of course, not. You still got multiple years ahead of you,” "Good! Now, if you want me to accomplish that, you'd go out there and get me a teenage girl.” Fabian ordered Julian and dismissed him. " Your desire shall be granted as I embark on the pursuit of finding you a teenage girl.” Julian bowed to demonstrate his respect and exited Fabian's chambers. ************* A fresh day has finally presented itself. The day Alpha Fabian has been coveting for. For every minute that goes by, his soul burns in discomfort and strives for a solution to his situation. He's quite conscious of how problematic it is to find a teenage girl that would accept his request, but somehow he still thinks Julian will be successful in his pursuit. . ********* The glares of the morning glow glinted into Julian's room and interrupted his slumber. “It's sunrise already. I need to get ready for the mission ahead. “He flung off the bed and equipped himself for the tricky tasks that awaited him. The longevity of the Alpha now rests on his shoulder. If he fails to return home without positive feedback, he might as well start organizing for the Alpha's funeral. After getting dressed, he strolled outside to knock on Alpha Fabian's door. “I know it's you. What do you want? I thought I dispatched you on an assignment. Now proceed with it instantly. I don't have the opulence of time and patience.” Alpha Fabian rudely said, without granting Julian approval to speak. What Julian has to say doesn't matter to the Alpha. He just wants positive feedback. “I'm prepared for the adventure ahead. Hopefully, I'll be back with positive feedback.” Julian divulged. "Go in peace! You shall obtain favor in the sight of Selene, the moon goddess,” One significant concern is the prospect of getting a teenage girl who would be inclined to become Alpha's bride. In the same pack where teenage girls are subjected to quick fantasy and promiscuity. While they want the s*x to be chilly and slippery, the boys also emanate satisfaction from having anal s*x with them. Julian was conscious of this weird validity, yet he acquiesced to risk it all for this dreadful mission. He wasn't gonna pose and watch his Alpha suffer for what he knows nothing about. It was 7:30 am, yet everywhere was stranded with no traders, hunters, or passersby seen on the street. The Sinclair pack isn't known for absolute decorum or serenity on a morning like this. It appears as though every parent deliberately locked their daughters inside to make Julian's assignment more problematic than it already seems. Julian journeyed, yet he couldn't find any teenage girl to reach a compromise with. He gestured to distinct houses and offered the Alpha's mouthwatering proposal. Yet, he was unable to find a family to negotiate with. No family was willing to give out their daughter to the cruelest of Alpha. Not everyone was aware of the curse, yet they refused the life-changing opportunity of becoming the Alpha's bride. “I never, for once, imagined it would turn out this way. What will I do now? I gave the Alpha my word. I can't return to the pack with negativity. No, it's never gonna happen." Julian soliloquizes beneath a tree. He has lost all hope of finding a teenage girl. The night is spreading so fast like wildfire as darkness enclosed the atmosphere. Just when he thought of giving up already, he heard some strange footsteps around him. Without hesitation, he stood from the ground, pointing his sword at an invisible creature. “Reveal yourself and wrestle with me to a fight. And I'd slit your throat with my sword while I watch you slowly bleed to death. “Save it, BETA, Julian. I meant no harm. I just want to talk.” A masculine voice uttered and strolled behind Julian. “Who are you, and how did you find me? Speak now before I feed your remains to the vultures.” Julian threatened with full rage and bloodstained eyes. "I understand your rage. If I were asked to find the Alpha a teenage girl, I'd be more furious than you,” the stranger added and kept Julian in suspense. "How did you?.” Julian took a deep breath and widened his mouth in astonishment. "You're surprised how I found out? Oh, yes, you disclosed it. Let's just say I had my ears on the ground when you stopped by the neighborhood today, questioning parents if they could allow their daughters to marry the Alpha. And I bet the Alpha will be inclined to risk a fortune to find this beautiful teenage girl, right? Hahaha!” He laughed mischievously and poked fun at Julian. “You won't dare do that. The Alpha isn't gonna pay a dime. It's every girl's dream to become the Alpha's bride, and you know that,” "Good luck finding another teenage girl.” He turned to walk away, but Julian called him back. "Good boy. I knew I could do business with you. $10k and my teenage stepdaughter belongs to the Alpha. At c**k crow tomorrow, I would personally take her to the Alpha. By the way, my name's Mikel. It was nice doing business with you,” "You son of a b***h. If you keep the Alpha waiting by tomorrow morning, I'll find you, and I'll kill you.” Julian threatened and agreed to his proposal.
