FARIDA RE-ARRANGED the pillow behind her back, setting it in just the right spot. Her right hand caressed the silk sheets. Trust Alera to use silk bed sheets. The bed was gargantuan, bigger than king-size. The sheets were teal and white. So were the walls of Alera and Daniel’s bedroom. Grey drapes hung on either side of three large windows.
