Chapter 3

“How could you guys not hear me, I was clearly screaming at the top of my lungs”

“ what are you doing here? And why are you following us?”

Richard asked with a grave expression on his face.

“ well I’m bored so I invited myself”

“ you can’t just do that that’s stupid “

“ actually it’s fine, it’s no problem” jasmine breathed.

“You see, Richard she said it’s all good, no need to get worked up

hey big guy”he mumbled to roofy who was looking at him with his tongue sticking out and wagging his tail happily. “Wanna play? He threw a stick and roofy ran towards it

Jasmine watched as jack ran with him towards her front door. She couldn’t help but smile.

“So where did you move from? Richard asked with keen interest.

“A small town in West Virginia it’s called Dawiels.”

“ must’ve been hard for you to just leave there and move to trident, your friends and school. I can’t really imagine leaving here. “

”Why’d you move anyways?”

“My mom, she wanted a change, she said they were lots of memories she wanted to forget and my sisters accepted it, it was really hard for her when my dad died so she just wanted to. “

“I’m sorry about your dad “Richard said with a lot of emotion.

“It’s fine” jasmine sighed looking away so he wouldn’t see the tears welling up in her eyes

“We’re here, she said looks like roofy and your brother are already inside. Follow me I’ll show you the door.”

Richard did as he was instructed. The house was a beautiful but big one. It was really ancient. He heard stories about it but he’d never being inside.

Here we are jasmine finally said looking at him. He looked at the creepy door.

What’s inside

No idea that’s why I need your help getting it open.

He tried pushing it with force but it wouldn’t bulge.

“Have you tried a key he asked with a frustrated look

“ oh, honestly I haven’t, I don’t know where to look.

How about you check and I’ll try and see if I can pick the lock?

After some trials and what seemed like forever he got it open.

“Jasmine! “He called out in a loud voice. and jack with roofy ran up

“Wow how’d you do it “jasmine asked impressed.

“Well I just picked the lock, it wasn’t easy it looks like it’s been shut for over a century considering how old this house is.”

“ well let’s see what’s inside jack blurted out.

Sure thing jasmine chuckled.

She pushed the door open and walked into a big room. The room was very big with a lot of paintings hanging. They looked enchanted and jasmine could feel that same aura and energy but this time it was stronger.

Wow !exclaimed jack

“What’s all these”Richard asked

Look there’s a small door jack said pointing to a smaller door at the far end of the room with the key hanging from the key hole.

Let’s check it out jasmine said walking towards the door.she turned they key and it made a loud noise before opening.

They all walked in and fell into what seemed like an unending hole.
