Silence filled the moving vehicle as the 3 passengers sat far from each other, with each of their minds occupied by their private thoughts.
In Chang-ho's case mainly the thoughts : how to kill Kim Haneul 101.
Truth to be told Chang-ho was embarrassed, he had received a number of suggestive looks by several members of the royal staff. It didn't help that on the way to the vehicle both Haneul and Daichi had gone on to make him lead the way which gave them the opportunity to stare at his rear without interruption.
And yes, Daichi was there, when wasn't he? Chang-ho had been relieved knowing that he'd have someone to talk to at the party but Haneul had been visibly upset, groaning when he noticed the familiar figure of the man approaching them.
Surprisingly he had not made much of a fuss about it. Which was quite suspicious if you'd ask Chang-ho.
But going back to his embarrassment, Chang-ho couldn't believe that Haneul had actually instructed the stylist maidens to dress him up. Not like he didn't want to look good or something, but it was just that he didn't feel like he deserved it.
He had almost fainted on the spot once they had shown him his reflection.
'Woah that's not me' he had thought whilst inspecting the stylist's work.
Chang-ho looked good, really good.
He looked like a different person.
The expensive silky material of his garments were showing his beautiful creamy skin, creating a beautiful contrast between the dark garment and his pearly tone.
His hair was trimmed and sliced to perfection; his already sharp features were accentuated with the light use of makeup.
His big doughy eyes were shining and captivating, the black hint of an eye pencil giving him a sultry and sexy look.
Long story short Chang-ho looked exquisite.
And everybody had noticed that.
He just hoped he wouldn't draw as much attention at the venue, but he highly doubted he'd even be noticed given they were basically going to be in the midst of rich boys and girls who's family name was probably the most respected and whose looks were unrivalled.
Chang-ho had been so lost in his thoughts that he hadn't even noticed Daichi calling him, until the older man had softly shaken him out of his trance.
" Hm?" he asked, a little bit dazed.
Daichi smiled at him.
" We are here," he said.
Chang-ho looked around and noticed that yes, they were not moving, and two Haneul was standing outside the door glaring daggers at Daichi.
" Oh" he exclaimed before slipping out the vehicle.
His eyes almost fell off his sockets once they noticed the big building, they were about to venture in to.
To be honest Chang-ho should be used to it by now, but it was quite fascinating to continuously see and experience such luxury.
The closer they got to the mansion, the louder the music got blasting into the air.
As expected, and predicted the air was filled with alcohol and other substances which Chang-ho would never dare to explore.
He was starting to feel warm, but that was probably because of the big mass of people he couldn't avoid but touch as they made their way in.
Chang-ho was now following Haneul who seemed to steadied walking through another area ,(probably reserved) in search for his friends, Chang-ho actually glanced behind him to check if Daichi was still with them, but to his surprise he was nowhere in sight.
' He probably went to find his friends' He told himself, he did feel a little disappointed given that the man had not even said a world before his departure, it would have been nice to know, or rather Chang-ho would have wanted to join him given that he still felt really awkward with Haneul's friend unlike Daichi's.
It didn't take a long walk before Chang-ho found himself in a big room which seemed more luxurious than the other hallways ( If it was even possible) and relatively quieter.
Chang-ho had spotted 6 figures sitting around a circular table seemingly occupied in a match of poker or at least something similar,Chang-ho didn't know much about games but it did seem like they were somehow gambling given how the person who he recognised as Bright had brought out a stack of dollar out of nowhere and dropped it in the table.
Chang-ho wouldn't lie, that was like a culture shock to him.
The first person who noticed their presence was Jaehyun who didn't hesitate to wave them over excitedly as he grinned at both.
" Haneul ah! Chang-ho ya! Over here" he exclaimed loudly .
To be honest Chang-ho was shocked that the little man still remembered him. It’s not like they have gotten closer even though the little man had been extremely nice and accommodating towards him.
In a couple of seconds Haneul had gone through a series of handshake and special greetings with his mates leaving Chang-ho to awkwardly bow and give a little greeting of his.
Thankfully none of them seemed to be in the mood to give him any more attention than necessary as they all went back to their game, including Haneul.
But after a few minutes of watching the game, or rather attempting to, since he found the game really uninteresting Chang-ho felt a strong stare over him, so instinctively he raised his eyes up, causing him to make eye contact with Jung-il who had a passive and neutral look on his face. That was until he noticed Chang-ho panicking expression which made him smirk.
He carefully made motion for Chang-ho to follow him before he stood up excusing himself from the table.
Oh oh.
'I'm so screwed ' muttered Chang-ho quietly , as he contemplated whether to follow the man or not .
