Alpha Grayson The hot water poured over my shoulders, washing away the cold that had settled deep into my bones. I’d spent most of the morning searching for Heidi. Snow. Ice. Wind. Hours of walking through the forest until my muscles ached and my clothes were soaked. And nothing. Not one trace of her. Now, standing beneath the shower, the heat was almost enough to make me forget everything. Almost. I closed my eyes and tipped my head back. “This is almost better than a massage,” I muttered. For several precious seconds, I simply stood there. Then Bash ruined it. So… about the conversation you’re going to have with Lara. I groaned. “Don’t.” She knows where Heidi is. “Bash.” All she has to do is tell us. “I said leave it alone.” We need our mate. My eyes snapped open.
