The morning sun burned my face as I slowly tried to open my eyes. My head felt heavy as I shifted in bed. My head was pounding and as I slowly opened my eyes a strange pain filled my body. My eyes burned as they adjusted to the light. They burned as if flames were right against them, burning away my sight. I quickly rubbed them as I tried to remember what happened last night.
Last night I remember coming home, and I could remember- purple veins. Wolfhaze, I was drugged. Forcing my eyes opened I looked down at my hand seeing my veins a deep blue a sign the drug was exiting my system. My eyes were irritated but I ignored them as I sat up in the bed and looked around the room I was in, realizing it was the guest room.
