I opened my eyes to a still dark room. The silk curtains were drawn for both privacy and seclusion—the first one at Tyler's wishes, the latter at mine. I spent the entire night tossing and turning, finding moments where I'd fall asleep, only to wake up and realize that not even an hour had passed since I closed my eyes.
