Chapter Five Sitting in the manager’s office at Doug Clarke Real Estate, Justin Clarke turned his attention to the month’s figures. After spending half an hour wading through the sea of condolence emails in his inbox, he felt the tension in his shoulders release as he focussed on the numbers. It looked like they’d make budget, despite the continued decline in property sales across the eastern suburbs they serviced. Justin wondered how long they’d manage to keep their heads above water if things didn’t improve.
