SECRETS REVEALED

"Mom?" Abel called,shocked.

Evelyn who had expected this reaction from him smiled. There wasn't a person who would realize that and would not be shocked.

"Calm down honey,its alright" she assured and took him through the entrance behind the throne room and they got into a chamber furnished beautifully.

"Mom,how is this possible?" He asked,now seated on a golden chair opposite her.

Evelyn clapped twice and a dining table laden with several dishes appeared between them.

"You must eat first dear. You have a lot to know" she said and he quickly dived into the meal.

He grabbed a plate of rice topped with fried plantains and little chunks of chicken Gizzard and consumed it in a few minutes. He felt really hungry and his appetite increased.

He didn't know the reason why but he jumped from one meal to another till he finished the last dish. He grabbed a glass of wine and drowned it.

"So mom,can you explain?" He asked,rubbing his belly.

"Honey" she called.

"Hungh?"

"Before I continue,I just want you to know that I'm sorry. I could have brought you here with me,showed up after the incident or even take you with me but I had to leave you behind. After my explanation, I know you'll understand and forgive me" she said.

Abel just stared at her lovingly. He had missed his mother. Even though he knew things were being kept from him,he was glad to have family back.

"Okay mom,I forgive you" he stated and that brought a peaceful smile to her face.

"So can you explain everything to me now?" He requested.

"Oh yes. So this place is a kingdom,a kingdom known as Astera. Its a magical kingdom containing all types of supernatural creatures." She said then paused.

"Okay?"

"So years ago,I being the daughter of the king then was courted by Doomsivious,the son of the Multibreeds' ruler. He had proposed marriage to me severally but I objected,telling him I was the crown princess and I wanted to be a powerful one before ascending the throne.

Even at that,he never relented,he always pestered me. He even at a point told my father and my father told him he couldn't force my decisions,and that I can only marry him when I decided to.

Moving onwards,a few days to when I was to be crowned the crown princess,someone broke into the palace and killed everyone of my family. He almost killed me but I escaped,leaving the kingdom. I got back later after their deaths were announced and I took the mantle of leadership,ensuring I found my family's killer.

It was then Doomsivious approached me and asked for my hand in marriage which I gave him and he manipulatively took control of the kingdom,favoring the Multibreeds. I felt that was normal so I didn't react. It was until he began to show his true colors that I stopped him but it was too late.

He had already created a rebellion,a rebellion that wanted to force me out of power. I and my loyal subjects fought back and we stopped him before he could do any more damage and I casted him out of the kingdom since I couldn't kill him.

I even sent my best spies...Alfred,an Alpha Wolf and Christine,a lunar Witch to earth and to help me monitor his movements but he just seemed to disappear. They came back to give me the reports and requested that they lived on earth and I agreed.

Years later,they returned and told me Doomsivious or Doom as he was now called,had become much stronger and was ready to take this kingdom down singlehandedly. The one thing stopping him was that he didn't know the way to this kingdom so he stuck around,finding a way.

I knew Doom had to be stopped but there was no way I could,all the Multibreeds had been murdered here so I went to earth,manipulated a lot of things and created a false prophecy all in the hope that there would be a Multibreed powerful enough to stop Doom but unfortunately, none did.

Timeline after timeline,they all failed against their older selves but it was you who made the difference. You made me proud of you and the moment I realized you were strong enough to face Doom, I left earth and came here,hoping you'd destroy him.

But with the look of things,I doubt you would stop him,so I brought you here so you would be safe from trouble" She explained.

Abel sat mouth agape,he couldn't believe everything had been manipulated by his mother. His true aim was never to stop the dark one or face the Trinity of Doom. It was to stop Doom himself but one thing still puzzled him so he asked.

"Mom,Doom actually wants me now. He knew I'd become the Multibreed and had threatened to kill the Dyches who had to substitute themselves with me.

Why does he want me!?" He asked.

Evelyn sighed and faced her right side. She looked back at him and said.

"He wants you because he believes you are a key to this place. He wants to get here and destroy so we have to be careful" she replied.

"Sure" Abel nodded and looked at the ground. Hundreds of thoughts were running through him mind at the moment and he couldn't voice them out...at least not there.

"Mom I need some fresh air" he said and left the chamber.

Evelyn sighed again. She understood him and let him go. He hadn't got the full explanation but he'll understand.

It wasn't easy,realizing something wasn't what it was meant to be and also knowing something that he had no idea humanity could know.

"He'll understand" she said and rested fully on her chair.

DYCHES MANSION.

The atmosphere seemed extremely tense. Silence reigned in the mansion. The Dyches family,Osborne,his son,Drex and Elsa were all in deep thoughts,digesting the explanation Alfred just gave them. The explanation correlated with Evelyn's but his was told from his point of view.

For minutes,the silence continued to hang around like the dark,full clouds,about to rain on the earth.

It didn't take long before Osborne broke the silence.

"And you never told me about this?" He asked.

"I wanted to but Doom,I was afraid.."

"Afraid of what? Afraid of trusting me? Were you afraid I was under Doom's control?!!!!" Osborne cut him off,yelling at the top of his voice. He gritted his teeth in anger, wondering how many secrets Alfred was keeping.

"So now that we all know who kidn*pped Abel and why,can we go and see him?" Drex asked,ever serious.

"No we can't" Christine protested.

"And why is that?" Osborne snapped.

"Because we have to keep Astera's location a secret. If Doom gets wind of where Astera is,he's definitely going to destroy it" She replied.

"But we have to stop Doom. God knows what he might do to us. He's a Goddamn Multibreed and we need a Multibreed to end a Multibreed. Without Abel,we don't stand a chance against Doom" Drake protested.

"I understand your pain son but trust me,even if we have Abel,Doom is powerful enough to wipe us out. All we need to do is stop my sons...The Chaos Wolves from being ruined by him" Alfred replied.

"But what about Doom? Ain't he gonna do something drastic?" Drex questioned.

The Dyches gave a frustrated look and Sharon spoke up.

"He doesn't have Abel so he'll be playing his game slowly. We need to first get the boys off his control. If we release them from his compulsion,we can then find other ways of stopping his other allies(If he has allies)" she replied.

Every one except for Elsa reasoned with her idea,it wasn't bad after all. They had one problem to deal with and wouldn't want it to increase to two.

There was also a probability that Abel was receiving hardcore training to prepare him against Doom so they agreed to it.

Elsa on her own part had no idea of what they were discussing. She was only here to help Dwayne but seeing that Dwayne wasn't there and her message had been conveyed,she decided it would be best to hang around Bartlesville, they'd be glad to have a Kanima reinforce them.

Speaking of Dwayne,his story was getting more complicated.

Dwayne walked down the tarred streets. He had left his shop in care of his new attendant who he felt was capable of handling the store.

For a reason unknown he chose to not take his car but walk. His intuition had it to trek.

He was just taking a quick step to another street when he noticed something wrong...A young girl coughed and immediately flames emitted from her mouth,burning her nose mask and slightly burning her mother who stood before her,communicating with someone on her phone.

The force of the explosion threw the mother to the ground and that made him suspicious. He walked over to the girl to offer her help. Other passers by had also stopped to help them and they helped the mother up.

The little girl surprisingly was unhurt. He tried to sense if she was in anyway a Supernatural but his result was negative. Even the mother who was unhurt and the passers by weren't supernaturals.

That was a relief.

"Are you okay?" He asked the little girl. She nodded slowly,terrified, shocked.

"Are you okay ma'am?" He asked the mother who pulled her daughter into a warm hug.

"Yes I'm fine." She replied. "Thank you for your concern" she also added and made to walk away.

He looked at the little girl's eyes and saw something shocking.

Her pupils had become yellowish and were expanding. He peered deeper and saw the cells speeding up while conjoining.

He knew what that meant...Mutation.

"Step away from her ma'am" he yelled and grabbed her away from her daughter who simultaneously had become a ravage beast,attempting to hit her mother.

"What are you doing? Leave me alone?" She yelled as she wriggled free of his grip.

She turned to face her daughter and met the shock of her life...Her very own daughter now had a hideous face and was blasting flames in the hair.

"What is that? That isn't my daughter." She yelled in agony.

"Madam calm down. She's gonna be alright. Call the cops or something like that" he said in a way to distract her from making a big fuss. Unknown to him,the cops had been called and the whirling sounds of sirens blasted through the streets.

He immediately grabbed the girl but with unimaginable strength,she hugged him,squeezing his bones. He left her and as soon as she did that,she grabbed his leg and swung him upwards.

Like a piece of rock,he was hurled high in the sky(about 50 feet). No human could survive that fall and he knew that.

But he was no human.

When he had reached the highest the force threw him,gravity took its course and pulled him earthwards.

He shut his eyes and when he was a few feet to the floor,he floated then landed slowly.

"Come on little girl,don't be this" he tried to calm her but she seemed enraged. Whatever had taken control of her wanted him dead because it didn't make an attempt to attack anyone but him.

She rushed towards him at inhumane speed and hit him. He already crouched in defence but the force was so much that it threw him off his feet.

He got up again,staring at her.

Luckily or so the people thought, the police showed up,warning her to stand down. She didn't reply them and made to advance at him when one cop shot.

He bullet hit her on the leg and she shot him a glare. In a flash,she had attacked the cop with a ball of flames which caught the latter unawares and he roasted to death. The other cops,terrified,began to shoot to at least buy the citizens time to escape from her Savage attacks.

The citizens also did a great job escaping but still,Dwayne didn't run.

Unfortunately for the cops,they ran out of ammunition before they could get reinforcements.

The girl,realizing this,attacked them.

Before she could maul her first target,Dwayne jumped in and grabbed her. He used his right arm which was freezing to rub her head,thus,cooling her down.

Slowly,she shut her eyes and fell into her subconscious.

"You're welcome" he said to the officers who looked at him in awe. He lifted her on his shoulders,then faced the cops.

"Don't rat my identity,I'll be coming back to discuss with you. We have a lot to talk about" he said and flew away with the girl in his arms.

"You think we should trust him?" One of the cops asked.

"Dumbass he's the Dragon's Soul. He's the one father has been talking about." Another officer scolded.

"We're definitely trusting him but the citizens saw this. We need to give them a story" another officer said.

"We'll tell them the truth but we won't tell his identity"

The sky was dark. The darkness covered the entire plane of barrenness skirted by a small,dark water body.

Right in the centre was a figure who looked like he was awaiting someone.

Eventually another figure appeared behind him and he swiftly turned around.

"Doomsivious" the first figure stated.

"Draco" Doom replied and the former smiled.

"Its going according to plan"

Draco and Doom working together? That seems pretty messy but I'm sure the guys can still stand a chance
