AMBUSH(II)

Doom appeared in the dark Abyss with a smirk on his face. His face beamed a frown the moment he realized that Maddie and Shirley's thrones were empty.

"Maddie" he yelled.

A minute later,she appeared before him,her eyes high in ecstasy,while she sweated heavily.

"Yes brother?" She questioned and got up,walking towards him.

"I need your help right now" he replied and stared at the Multitude if Supernaturals awaiting orders to destroy.

"And what help is that?" She inquired,unsure of what was on her brother's mind. She wondered why he was adopted by her parents. He was evil,much more than anyone she knew and his tricks were unearthly.

"I need Demons,Demons from hell" he stated,staring at the rank of Supernaturals there.

"What do you need Demons for?" She asked.

"The Dragon's Soul and Alfred are meeting tonight,I'm planning an ambush" he stated and chuckled evilly.

"Okay brother....Omos!" she yelled.

"Yes mistress" a deep,unearthly voice rumbled from all corners of the abyss.

"Rally your Demons and obey his commands" she instructed.

"Yes mistress,your command is my responsibility" he replied and suddenly,a huge brown creature,coated with flames landed before both of them,kneeling.

"Good. Now Omos,I need you to do some things for me" Doom said,grinning from ear to ear.

"Yes master"

"Kill the Alpha Wolf but ensure that Dwayne is hurt. I need him alive" he instructed.

"Yes master."

"Good...Now leave!" He commanded and the demon,with a burst of energy,got up and flew away from the abyss,heading to God knows where.

Stan ran into the safe house's compound,breathing heavily like he was chased all the way there. He entered the Safe house which was surprisingly empty.

The reason he was the only one there was because a hospital which offered the same services of treating the infected was under attack and the rest had to stay behind and fight.

He walked faster and climbed the stairs.

Everything seemed silent compared to what he had expected. He opened the door of a ward and gasped. One of the nurses he and his brothers had employed to look after the infected was on the floor,unconscious.

"Jin" he called and ran towards her,shaking her. She just lay limp,deep in slumber.

"I swear I'll make those minions pay" he resolute and checked the other wards. He met the same result in the following wards and gasped.

"Who the f**k did this?" He asked,already angry.

He walked out of the the ward and down the stairs. He opened the door and was surprised.

Outside the compound were hundreds of minions awaiting to attack. He knew it,he had been ambushed.

"So bloody fuckers,are y'all ready to die?" He asked with clenched fists. He ran towards them and released a blast of ice towards them,causing disarray amongst their ranks.

The minions immediately regrouped and launched a wave of flames at him. He formed an ice barrier,twice the size of the house and protected the house from being grazed down.

He transformed into his Dragon form and sent a wave of ice at them again and immediately swiped his tail towards them,causing a physical effect that blasted them far behind.

He thought he had done it all when the minions reformed and transformed into Dragons,all breathing extremely hot flames.

"s**t" he muttered. There was no way he was going to stop them all.

At that moment,Yu Yuan appeared by his side.

"What took you so long?" He asked.

"Well,those minions are a distraction,I figured you were in big trouble" she replied.

"Oh,how are we going to do this now?" He asked and faced the Minions once more.

"We fight" she stated and transformed into her Dragon form.

The minions rallied and split up,with some attacking on level ground,some launched an aerial assault.

Yu Yuan flew above and fought them back,releasing wave after wave of fire at them. They had to retreat due to the tenacity of the flames. Stan increased the ice barrier and shot icicles at them,causing them to howl in pain.

Yu Yuan appeared by his side,her adrenaline rushing. Suddenly,the Dragons rallied up,all engulfed in flames,they began to huddle together and gradually,they formed a Dragon,bigger than both of them combined.

"Oh no!" Stan gasped. He had heard of this before but he had never believed he'd experience it at the moment.

"The ultra Dragon formation" Yu Yuan stated,shocked and scared.

Alpha Alfred stood at the edge of the Rio Grande,patiently awaiting Dwayne. He had chose the forest for three reasons,the first being the obvious. He wanted to spend she time with the latter. The second being that the hospital was located in the forest and the third being that he wanted to gift the young man what his father had left behind for him.

He frowned,thinking that Dwayne had already gotten himself into trouble with the border patrol. His judgement clouded his mind and his fury increased,wondering why Dwayne had not become the man he expected him to be.

Amidst his storm of fury,Dwayne appeared from a distance,floating in the air. A few seconds after,he landed before Alpha Alfred,crouching.

"Alpha Alfred" he greeted,rooted to the ground. The older man looked away and turned his back on him.

"What took you so long? He asked,angry.

"Jeez,why is he such a grump?" Dwayne sneered in his mind.

"I had to help those in need on my way. That probably was what took me so long" he replied.

"Okay" Alfred stated expressionlessly. He began to walk forward and Dwayne needed no instruction to know he had to follow him.

"So Dwayne,how are things holding up in China?" He asked. Dwayne scratched his head,rumbling for a quick reply.

"The situation is being controlled. At least we have been able to contain about five hundred infected people and we have spread information on all we know about the disease" he replied.

"Not that,I'm talking about your Chinese girlfriend and her father. Hope you're not feeling dejected and sad?" He asked.

"Oh,Yu Yuan and Jim? They're fine" he replied expressionlessly. He wondered why the Alpha Wolf was still hard on him despite the fact he wasn't a weakling anymore. He knew the Alpha had his reasons and he had propounded his' but he just kept quiet,following the path the older man took and keeping a distance from him.

"So Dwayne. How did you manage to get infected?" Alfred asked as they emerged from the thickness of the forest into an open row of pine trees.

"During a fight with one of the minions. He snuck it into me just as I had snuck a bug into him" he replied. The older man chuckled,finding it funny. Suddenly he stopped and looked up,his eyebrows knotted and he frowned.

"Do you sense them?" He asked.

"Yeah...DEMONS!" Dwayne replied and immediately jumped in front of Alpha Alfred,absorbing the rapid fire ball coming in his direction. The flames had not much effect on him but the force of the explosion was the disaster. He couldn't stand,rather,he felt weak all over and unable to move.

Alpha Alfred pulled him backwards and just then,a Demon landed on the spot.

Another also landed followed by another until they were six in number. The pain had finally subsided and Dwayne stood up.

"Are you okay?" Alpha Alfred asked,pulling him up.

"Yeah I'm fine" he replied and faced the Demons once more. He knew it...they were ambushed but they had to fight their way out of there.

"What do you want you damned souls?" He asked,clenching his fists because he knew violence would be their answer.

"To end both of you" a Demon replied and rushed towards him. The Demon had a flaming sword in hand and raised it,ready to strike Dwayne. He quickly evaded the blow and drove a punch to the Demon's midsection,then spun,disarming it. Before the Demon could lift a finger,Dwayne had decapitated it.

Alpha Alfred on the other hand,half transformed into a Wolf and awaited his attacker who laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" He asked,irritated.

"A common Alpha Wolf against a Demon? What a waste of time" the Demon mocked.

"We shall see about that" Alpha Alfred chuckled. Triggered,the Demon attacked and the Wolf dodged,sweeping its feet if the ground.

Fortunately for the Demon,it could fly and was floating in the air. Before the Alpha could stand,he sent his sword down on the latter. Miraculously,Alpha Alfred rolled out of harm's way and leapt immediately,connecting his feet to the face of the Demon

The impact pushed the Demon backwards and rushed without hesitating,the Alpha Wolf rushed towards it and decapitated it before it could fall.

He smirked,knowing that the Demon had made a mistake which was to underestimate him.

"Never underestimate an opponent again." He said and spat over the corpse of the Demon.

Unknown to him,there were other Demons behind him and as he turned,they attacked him,leaving him at a disadvantaged position.

Dwayne had already killed the other two Demons and realized that Alpha Alfred was already ambushed. He rushed towards them and with immense speed,grabbed both of them and suplexed them to the ground. He quickly let go of them,knowing that the flames they emitted were flames from hell and he could not mess with those.

At insane speed,he grabbed the first Demon and smashed him into the ground. The result was a hole in the ground with the Demon underneath. He shot icicles and sealed the hole with ice,causing the Demon to freeze to death.

He smirked and faced the last Demon who also attacked blindly. He easily grabbed the Demon and drove his arm into its chest. And just before the Demon could move,he pulled its spine out and drove his freezing hand into the Demon's throat,causing it to die instantly.

He rushed towards Alpha Alfred and checked on him. He sighed,glad the older man was alive. Suddenly,he turned his head and saw what was coming. A dozen Demons with the largest being their leader.

He knew he could not face them all. Not even in that position he found himself. He quickly created a diversion,hurling balls of flames and ice towards them and lifted the Alpha Wolf,disappearing into the thickness of the forest.

Doom walked majestically through the night. He was on a plain field which seemed endless. He got to a point and stopped,knowing that was his destination. He snapped his fingers and a portal appeared,shining like the light of a star. He took a step inside,then another till he fully got into the portal. He looked back,seeing the portal was still open.

He snapped his fingers,causing the portal to shut close,leaving behind a trail if darkness. He looked ahead of him and smiled. He was where no one thought he'd ever be. He was on the outskirts of Astera.

He walked further for more than a minute,taking his time. He stopped and frowned,knowing he had reached the boundary...the reason he couldn't gain access to the kingdom or any other.

He groaned in frustration,awaiting someone. He had expected that who he wanted to meet was going to be there,waiting for him but he was wrong,he was the waiter at the moment.

He squinted his eyes as he saw a figure approaching. That place was exceptionally dark being the boundary and people weren't expected to be loitering. He had two guesses

"A guard or my informant" he muttered and casted a cloaking spell,blending him into the darkness.

The figure stopped right before the spot Doom hid and glanced around,expecting to see him. The figure was donned in a black cloak which also had a hoodie to complete the cover.

"Doom" the figure called in a deep voice. The deepness of the voice was caused by a gas mask the figure had on.

"What took you so long?" Doom asked and uncloaked himself.

"I'm sorry Doom but I had some issues to attend to" the figure replied.

"Okay,so how far have you gone with cracking this boundary?" He asked. The figure scratched the back of his head,wondering the best way to put it to Doom.

"See Doom,you'll have to be patient. The prince isn't ready and it would be too early to get him to do that. I still have to get close to him first" the informant explained.

"I understand. *sighs*. But I want you to be fast with it. I don't have time to lose" he said after a minute of silence.

"Yes Doom,within a month,I'll get the job done" the figure replied and turned to leave.

"One more thing" Doom said.

"What?"

"Keep an eye on the Queen for me. I'm sure the b***h is up to no good" he instructed.

"I will."

Doom's f*****g crazy. He already know the pathway to Astera but the only thing he needs to do is to break the boundary down.

Yet,he's still messing with the Dyches.
