Thirty-Nine It was almost eight when Guthrie finally left the station and made his way west towards home. He had called Jacquie, but the call went straight to voicemail. He didn't leave a message, instead, opting to send a short text. Fancy a drink - if it's not too late? He pocketed his phone and climbed into the MG.
