Twenty-Three
Back in the incident room, Guthrie headed straight for the coffee pots. Alisdair checked with one of the female uniformed constables. He wanted to know if they had received a list of Ogilvy Outerwear’s vendors. They had. The company had sent it over just as Guthrie and Alisdair were called into Buchanan’s office.
He then cornered a couple of uniforms who looked like they needed something to do and briefed them on the fire, before telling them what Guthrie wanted done. He then joined Guthrie, who was stirring a spoonful of sugar into a disposable cup.
“The vendor list arrived just a few minutes ago. I have Sal printing out a couple of copies for us. Also found a couple of lads to do the legwork you needed doing on the fire.”
