I felt a weight lift from my chest after recounting my story to Kyle. I thought it was really not that hurtful anymore.
However, he was giving me a pitiful look and coupled with the way he was apologizing, it made me feel like I was carrying the burden of the entire earth on my shoulders.
Kyle apologizing for every single word I said was really annoying. He was not the cause of my struggle, so why the hell was he apologizing when the ones who caused it are not even apologetic about it?
