I knew Kyle would probably be surprised at seeing me in the woods suddenly but giving me a hug out of the blues? That was so unexpected.
After the run, my emotions had calmed a bit, but that hug felt like what I really needed at that point. I felt all the grievances that had bottled up in my heart for the last few days seep away.
I don't know why, but I just felt relaxed, feeling his soft fur rub against my skin. I was a bit disappointed when he immediately pulled away, before I could even enjoy the feeling of his fur.
