After a few moments of nervousness, I couldn't help the feeling of frustration that rushed from the depth of my heart, I couldn't understand this caring Peter.
It made me feel like he had ulterior motives for caring for me, because I didn't get how someone who was always angry at the sight of me, would suddenly start caring for me.
I was ready to interrogate him until I figured out what he was planning, but Mitchell suddenly called me which made my relaxed nerves suddenly tensed up. I knew it was not a good thing at all. Mitchell was never the one to talk calmly, not even through the phone.
I tried to ignore the call but when she called back the second time, I knew she was not going to stop unless I answered the call. I picked the call after I saw Peter step away from me.
