We arrived, but I landed quietly, since the doves were still sleeping. But apparently, someone made them wake up.

I saw the pathetic thing running on his skinny legs while I entered their scummy castle.

“King Alaric, a pleasant surprise to have you” What he’s playing at, I can clearly see.

“I’ll show you inside the dining” Of course you will, since you are the last kingdom I haven’t checked for my mate.

“I didn’t ask for beauty, I asked to come here to find my mate, bring all the unmated women in the castle first, if they want to that is.

Inform them of a chance to find their mate and compensate the rest when I find my mate out of all of them” I told him to do this because I started getting restless and excited when I stepped into this side of his puny castle.

This was the first time I entered his castle. The last time, I left as soon as I came.

She looks so skinny, the skinniest of all these women, and her scales...how gorgeous, so pure under all that dirt. Why is she treated like this?

“Y-yes your Majesty” What a raspy voice. She hasn’t drank water in a while.

“Come here princess,” I said softly, as to not scare her.

She shuffled closer to me and I sat her down. I felt the tingles but I doubt she has, her hands feel so cold.

“Y-your majesty, I’m dirty, your clothes will get dirty too-”

“I do not mind my princess, look at me”

My heart stopped. Her eyes are so...gorgeous. No way, so beautiful.

“Your eyes are also very sparkly” How adorable.

In all my 209 years of life, I’ve been searching the whole world, thinking I was too late, that the person I was looking for had passed. As the king of all creatures, I searched the underworld, the world’s packs, the world’s seas and oceans and more.

I never thought that she would be here, in the most pathetic kingdom I know, which is where I just found her, my, other half, my chosen one
