Rayne’s POV
“It’s good to see you, sis. I mean, you look like crap. But it is good to see you. Awake and alive.” I told Summer as she woke up. I wanted to walk over and hold her. But she puts her hand to her head. I guess she has a headache. Now wouldn’t be a good time to bring anyone in to see her right now.
I got her some water, hoping the headache was caused by dehydration. But the amount of intravenous fluids Elizabeth has been pumping into her. I don’t see how Summer could be dehydrated.
I sat on the edge of her bed holding a beaker. Offering it to her, she takes it. I was told she couldn’t move earlier. This is a sign that she has improved since this morning.
“Are the kid’s okay?” she asks me with a worried look on her face.
“They are with Evie and her mate. They
