Tomorrow came quicker than expected. Leo wasn’t in the room. I could hear noise from downstairs. I pulled on my robe and saw Leo in the kitchen cooking.
“Well isn’t this a sight? Never thought the big bad Leo would be capable of cooking his own breakfast”
“You’d be amazed at what I’m capable of,” he grinned, pushing a plate of pancakes, eggs and bacon to me.
I picked you the bacon and ate it happily.
“It’s delicious”
He came around the corner, placing a kiss in my head.
“After you’ve had your fill you should go and get ready. We have a long day ahead of us”
“What’s going on now?”
“We’re taking a vacation. It won’t be long till the baby is here and we won’t be able to do these things as often”
“I thought it’d be awhile before we leave on vacation”
