Everyone was already inside waiting for us. I looked over the papers on the way here and from what I read, Elena was just giving everything to me.
The chiming of the bell was music to my ears. The sweet and savory smells of food drifting out from the kitchen.
“Hey kiddo”
“Nico!” I ran at him.
He wrapped me in a hug and lifted me in the air, swinging me around.
“Congratulations on graduating. I’m so glad your back”
“Thank you. I’ve missed you”
“This place definitely wasn’t the same without you”
Looking around I could see things were almost the same. It was starting to wear down a little more and definitely needed repairs.
“The whole place has been shut down for the time being,” Elena smiled, “did you have time to go over the papers?”
“I did”
“And?”
“Who has a pen?”
“Oh good!
