My eyes grew as a loud ringing noise sounded in my ears. Blood splattered across my face. Ivan’s pupils dilated. His hand reached up to his chest. When he pulled it away it was covered in crimson red. He had fallen off of me. His dead eyes staring deep down into mine.
I looked over and standing in the entrance way was Leo, lowering the gun in his hand as he rushed to me. His hands searched every inch of my body. I could see his mouth moving, but I couldn’t make out anything he was saying.
His hands cupped my face. The worry, anger and fear in his eyes brought me back.
“Are you okay?”
I nodded, but then a pain ripped through me. I clutched my stomach, screaming and then I felt something wet between my legs.
Leo had noticed and he seemed to comprehend it a lot quicker than I did.
