I cried so much that I made myself sick. I spent the next few days locked up in my room in a sort of comatose state. I could hardly eat or drink anything. Soon Christian was going to start IV’s if I kept this up.
A knock on my door. Liam entered my room. He had begun staying here again with Harlen. Coming over and setting a small bowl of soup on my nightstand and taking a seat on the bed beside me. He placed his hand on my hip, running his thumb in circles.
“Aria, I know I’ve said this before, but truly I am sorry,” he sighed, “Leo may not be an innocent man, but he never stole files and he definitely wasn’t doing anything illegal with any of the businesses or properties he owns”
