The moment I came back to the main hall, the music was playing a quieter piece compared to the previous one. Most of the young wolves were already moving into the adjacent rooms or going outside to the lawn. Some elderly wolves had stayed near the fireplace, speaking in low tones that they usually used when the public part of the evening was over.
